Produce physical data dictionary for use by Business Analysts and Programmers.
Manage reference data tables on the Oracle database using MS Access and TOAD. Write SQL scripts to load data into reference tables in the Oracle database
Respond to requests for special queries on the database using SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, MS Access and Excel. Sometimes this included producing pivot tables and graphs for management reports.
Model and design database changes and extensions to IOMS for the external supplier to Dept of Corrections.
Analyse data faults and developed PL/SQL scripts to correct data integrity problems.
Represent Corrections on the Justice Sector Data Definitions Working Group to promote data sharing and exchange with Police, Courts, Land Transport and Ministry of Justice.
Develop data modelling standards and help business analysts with system specification. Develop physical database design standards for external developers working at Corrections.
