Identity Services are responsible for the registration of information regarding Births, Deaths and Marriages, and processing Passport applications for NZ citizens.

Responsibilities

Develop Operational Notes for IID22, Sales Order Load. Sales Order Load is integrates the requests for Death Certificates by Funeral Directors by processing XML data in a .Net environment.

Read and reviewed all the project documentation produced by the department and all the technical documentation from three independent software suppliers who have constructed subsystems of Sales Order Load.

Interviewed subject matter experts from the department and the suppliers to fill in major information gaps.

Developed the structure, content and graphics for the Operational Notes and formatted it to DIA templates and style.

Organized document reviews by operations and project staff and edited the document in response to feedback.

Organized document handover so that it could be maintained in response to changes and new information as the system proceeds into full operational implementation.

Technology Used

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Lotus Notes, MS Windows XP, Adobe Acrobat.

Major Achievements

Develop information plan and write draft of IID22 Operations Notes. The notes consist of reference and procedure topics relating to installation, configuration and troubleshooting the system components.
